Character Illustrations
Character illustration is where my passion for art began, and it wouldn't be a stretch to say that it's my specialty. My art style is strongly influenced by Japanese anime, but also video games, and multitude of amazing artists that I have grown up following.
Bird Paintings
As I've become more and more entrenched in the world of birdwatching, I've developed an interesting in illustrating birds. This is a developing area for me, and I'm excited to see where bird illustration takes me!
Traditional Art
I might be a primarily digital illustrator, but that doesn't mean I don't bust out the pencils and paper sometimes! My traditional work is a mix of both birds and character illustration, and I practice it to help improve my fluidity and shading!
Graphic Design
Both art and photography have been useful in the smattering of graphic design experiences I've had. Most of this has involved logo design and social media campaigns for volunteer organisations.
My partner and I have also launched our own brand, Diomedia Designs, which utilises our expression through these media.
Photography
Thanks to the enthusiasm of my partner, I've slowly been converted into a dedicated birder. Getting a camera only solidified this, and now I'm always happy to snap a few shots of the beautiful birdlife that we encounter on our travels.
